Get a moment to explore the spice plants, herbs and all sorts of tropical fruits on a spice farm. Engage yourself in the overwhelming nature of the spices in Zanzibar. Our guides will illuminate for you why Zanzibar is called the spice Island. The tour will generally take 2 hours on a small plantation whereby you will see the growth of spices such as nutmeg, cloves, vanilla, cardamoms, cinnamon, tamarind, pepper, curry and ginger. Generously you'll also see tropical fruits such as jackfruit, papayas, mangoes and rambutan. The excursion ends with a visit to the spice shop on the farm area, where you can buy pure and preserved spices for yourself.
About  Spice Farm
On a spice farm, take some time to explore and learn about the many types of spices, herbs, and tropical fruits. Our experts will explain to you why Zanzibar is known as the "Spice Island." The trip will last about 2 hours and will take place on a small plantation where you will see the evolution of spices such as nutmeg, cloves, vanilla, cardamom, cinnamon, tamarind, pepper, curry, and ginger. Tropical fruits such as jackfruit, papayas, mangoes, and rambutan will be abundantly available. The excursion concludes with a visit to the spice store located on the farm grounds, where you can purchase fresh and preserved spices for home use.
