At the heart of everything we do is the wellbeing of all animals! Here at Fusion we provide horse riding activities with our lovely shepherd and pampered horses. Horse riding is both great fun and great exercise for people of all ages, we cater for everyone and we are open for your enjoyment. A horse riding rental can be one of the most fun and affordable ways to enjoy a horse and we will offer you just that! Most horseback rides on the trails are guided for safety reasons. That means an experienced horse guide that is familiar with the horses and trails will be with you the whole ride.

Taking a swim with horses is an amazing experience we do it bareback and with natural halters to ensure that everyone has a safe and pleasant time while swimming. Even the most unskilled riders may take part in trip. Swimming with horses is only possible at high tides, so plan ahead of time.

This ride is appropriate for riders of all levels, including first-timers. Our route will take us past the outskirts of Nungwi Village and then north east, where we will join the beach at the Nungwi Lighthouse. Low tide is also a good time to check for certain local sandbanks that are only visible when the tides are out. After that, we will return to the stables along the seashore, trotting and cantering for those who are able to do so.

Only for experienced riders who are capable of cantering. After a short walk through the hamlet from the stables, we will join the beach and head south-west towards the Kendwa beaches. We will walk, trot, and canter along this beautiful length of shoreline at regular intervals. We will go to Kilindi bay, which is a stunning spot for taking photographs, before returning through an 8-kilometer stretch of white sand beaches. This is a ride that can only be done at low tide and before 10:00 am. Since the beaches get too crowded after that time.

Experienced riders with good cantering skills are recommended for this excursion from where we will leave the stables and go via the back roads of Nungwi before making our way south-west into the wilds of the region. Within 40 minutes, we will arrive at the beautiful beaches of Kendwa, from whence we will continue south to the Kilindi Bay. After that, we'll go back to the stables through an 8-kilometer stretch of magnificent sand dunes. Throughout the journey back to Nungwi, we will walk, trot, and canter at regular intervals. A low tide and before 10:00 AM are the only times when this ride is possible due to the fact that beaches are too busy after then.

With just 10 days of accessible time each month and only visible at extremely low tide, these magnificent sandbanks are among the most stunning and isolated beaches on Zanzibar. It is unlikely that you will never see another beach with such a pristine white sand and crystal blue sea again. Because of the quantity of cantering and walking needed over a rocky shoreline, this excursion is only suited for experienced riders. Once we reach the sandbanks, we will have a plethora of opportunities for galloping and getting some beautiful pictures. Due to the extreme heat this ride is only feasible at low tide and before 12:00 PM.

We ride south from our stables to Nungwi and Kendwa beaches before going inland to Kilindi's farmlands and the remote communities of Kidoti. We will explore distant villages and greenery areas before we reach our destination. You will be given the opportunity to see our paddocks and meet the other horses at Kidoti Villas, and have some refreshments. Once the horses have had 30-minutes rest, we'll get back on them and ride northward along the beaches to finish the journey with a seven-kilometer canter on the white sands of Kendwa and Nungwi. Drink and snack services are included at Kidoti Villas. This is a ride that only works at low tide and before noon 12Pm
